The club was founded in 1987, but until 1995 when we acquired our own green, all matches were played away and the longstanding joke for touring sides is that we were once unbeaten at home for 8 years!!!!<BR><BR>The club is affiiliated to the EBA, EWBA, DCBA (Devon County Bowling Association) and the DCIBA. Our men play in the Mid Devon League, and our women in Print Plus League.<BR><BR>Our club colours are green and gold, and the men play in green and white coloured shirts.<BR><BR>We also hold the annual Marldon Fours Open Tournament which is open to all clubs in the area and is always a very successful event.</FONT><BR><FONT FACE="Verdana, Arial, Sans-Serif" SIZE="2">Our large clubhouse has a well stocked bar and we have our own catering facilities. We also have a large carpark adjoining the green.</FONT><BR><BR><FONT FACE="Verdana, Arial, Sans-Serif" SIZE="2">Touring sides are most welcome, and we would also be pleased to talk to other Devon clubs about friendly fixtures. Our outdoor green can accommodate seven rinks.<BR><BR>All the attractions of South Devon are within easy reach; for example Marldon is only about half an hour from Plymouth, Exeter and Dartmoor.<BR><BR>Touring sides, visitors to the area, and spectators are always welcome.
